UFOs are everywhere lately (literally). Spy balloons from China are one thing, but there are still plenty of unexplained flying objects and sightings out there to wonder about. If you’re a fan of shows like  The HISTORY® Channel’s Ancient Aliens, The UnXplained and The Proof is Out There, you’ll love this weekend’s AlienCon, a cosmic convention featuring sci-fi authors, experts, panels and space-y merch. AlienCon promises “50 hours of exclusive discussions,” exploring alien life and alien-adjacent subject matter, such as ancient civilizations and lost worlds, close encounters, paranormal activity, unexplained phenomena, and hidden governmental projects and discoveries. Like any good con, there’s a marketplace with over 100 artists & vendors selling intergalactic collectables, clothing and decor. Scheduled appearances include astronaut/theorist Giorgio Tsoukalos, astrophysicist and former UAP taskforce member Dr. Travis Taylor, former UK Ministry of Defense Nick Pope, authors Author David Childress and Erich Von Daniken, former Defense Intelligence Officer and Director, UAP Task Force, Jay Stratton, and investigative journalist George Knapp, to name a few. AlienCon at the Pasadena Convention Center, 300 E Green St, Pasadena; Saturday, March 4- Sunday, March 5, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. https://www.thealiencon.com
