Los Angeles will take on a Regency-era atmosphere this fall as House Foster Family Office presents its inaugural House Foster Royal Weekend, a three-day gathering combining formal events, entertainment, recognition, and philanthropy.

Taking place October 30 through November 1, 2026, at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles, the weekend will culminate with the House Foster Masquerade Ball: A Bridgerton-Inspired Royal Affair on Saturday, October 31.

An Evening of Masks, Music, and Ceremony

The signature ball will bring together formalwear, masks, music, dancing, and traditional touches inspired by the Regency period. Guests will arrive via a Royal Red Carpet, with professional photographers and a press and media line capturing arrivals throughout the evening.

The program will include horse-drawn carriages, a dining experience, live entertainment, dancing beneath the chandeliers, photography, party favors, and other planned surprises.

Two recognition programs will also take center stage: the Diamond of the Ball and the Royal Gentleman of the Year.

Recognizing People for Their Contributions

The two honors are intended to recognize individuals whose leadership, resilience, generosity, and service have had a meaningful effect on their communities.

Members of the public will be invited to nominate candidates, with finalists recognized during the weekend before the selected honorees are announced at the masquerade.

The initiative reflects House Foster’s broader definition of modern royalty, which places greater emphasis on character and contribution than on lineage, celebrity, or wealth.

Seatrice Foster and House Foster Family Office

The event was conceived by Seatrice Foster, Managing Partner of House Foster Family Office and an American real estate developer, investor, fund manager, and capital strategist with more than two decades of experience.

Seatrice Foster‘s career spans residential, commercial, and hospitality real estate, with more than $600 million in transactions facilitated throughout her career. She is the Founder and Fund Manager of Avālia Capital Partners LLC, a distressed hospitality fund focused on the acquisition and repositioning of hospitality assets. She also founded Trinity Capital Development, a commercial real estate lending and capital advisory firm.

Since 2009, Foster has served as Managing Broker and Principal of Foster & Williams Real Estate. She also serves on the advisory board of Events.com. Her other roles include serving as a Principal of House Foster Family Office and as a member of the Board of Directors of Bellrose Capital, a publicly traded company. She also operates U-Shift Consulting, providing business strategy, real estate consulting, and mindset coaching.

Her professional background in real estate, investment, and capital strategy is distinct from the social program being introduced through the Royal Weekend, but both reflect an interest in long-term impact and the people and communities connected to it.

How the Weekend Began

The idea for the Royal Weekend grew from Foster’s 50th birthday celebration, when approximately 200 friends, family members, and colleagues took part in a themed weekend featuring Dukes, Duchesses, Lords, Ladies, Counts, and Countesses.

That gathering prompted Foster to develop the concept into an annual event with a wider purpose.

“At its heart, the Royal Weekend is about giving people permission to step away from everyday life and experience beauty, joy, and genuine human connection again,” Foster said. “We’re creating a place where people from different worlds can celebrate together while using that visibility to recognize extraordinary people in our communities and bring awareness to an issue that touches millions of families.”

The weekend opens Friday evening with a Royal Welcome Reception. Saturday’s schedule includes a Ladies-in-Waiting Beauty Experience and Royal Afternoon Tea before the masquerade that evening. Events conclude Sunday, November 1.

A Gathering Across Different Worlds

The Millennium Biltmore will provide the setting for a weekend expected to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, family offices, entertainers, athletes, philanthropists, creators, and community leaders.

The mix reflects the event’s intention to bring people from different industries and backgrounds into the same setting, with the formal programming providing a common theme for the weekend.

An October Event With a Deeper Purpose

The timing of the Royal Weekend is significant. Held during October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the event will direct a portion of proceeds to At Nicky’s House, a nonprofit that helps victims of domestic violence and their families access safe shelter, critical resources, education, stability, and pathways toward rebuilding their lives.

The cause is personal for Foster, who is a survivor of domestic violence and continues to experience the physical effects of injuries sustained more than two decades ago.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that more than one in three women and one in six men in the United States have experienced contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetime.

For Foster, the connection between the event and the cause goes beyond fundraising. She sees the celebration as an opportunity to address an issue that can affect families across communities while creating an environment centered on resilience and moving forward.

“So many of us grew up believing in fairytales, in romance, love and beautiful endings. For someone who has experienced domestic violence, that fairytale can feel as though it was stolen. The fairytale may have been interrupted, but it does not have to be over,” Foster said.

Looking Ahead

House Foster intends for the Royal Weekend to become an annual Los Angeles event, bringing together entertainment, social connection, recognition, and charitable giving.

The inaugural weekend will take place October 30 through November 1, with the House Foster Masquerade Ball scheduled for October 31 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles.

For guests attending the masquerade, the evening will combine formal attire, masks, music, dining, dancing, and ceremony, while the wider weekend provides an opportunity to recognize individuals making contributions in their communities and support a cause with personal significance to its founder.
