Street Food Cinema is celebrating Halloween with a lineup of outdoor movie experiences across Los Angeles, including its immersive, adults-only Boo-ze, Bites & Frights series at Heritage Square Museum and two Hallo-weekend screenings at The Ford.

Returning for its fourth season, Boo-ze, Bites & Frights transforms Heritage Square’s historic Victorian village with horror double features, haunted pathways, adult trick-or-treating, mansion tours, live entertainment, costume contests, photo opportunities, food trucks and three full bars,  including the Shriekeasy lounge inside a historic church.

The spooky marketplace will feature local vendors across select nights, including Psychic Spiritual Temple for psychic and tarot readings, Wicked Liz Shop for spooky jewelry and accessories, Hallow Swag for Halloween clothing, Video Hero VHS for independent VHS finds, All Hail Horror for horror and pop-culture merchandise, and Nocturnal DesignZ for special-effects fangs and horror merchandise.

The venue also has a timely Hollywood connection: Heritage Square Museum served as a principal Los Angeles filming location for Netflix’s Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story.

The Boo-ze, Bites & Frights lineup includes:

Friday, Oct. 16: Obsession and Companion

Saturday, Oct. 17: A Nightmare on Elm Street and Wes Craven’s New Nightmare

Friday, Oct. 23: Sinners and Blade

Saturday, Oct. 24: Jennifer’s Body and Bodies Bodies Bodies

All events are exclusively for guests 21 and over. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at Heritage Square Museum. Street Food Cinema will then partner with The Ford for two back-to-back weekend screenings:

Friday, Oct. 30: From Dusk Till Dawn 30th-anniversary screening hosted by Jenna Nickerson

Saturday, Oct.  31: The Rocky Horror Picture Show,  an interactive Halloween presentation featuring a live shadowcast performance by Los Angeles’ longtime Rocky Horror cast, Sins O’ the Flesh. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for both events at The Ford.

This October, The Culver Hotel and Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch are teaming up to celebrate two local favorites. A playful pumpkin display, designed by Mr. Bones’ pumpkin design team, has taken over the hotel entrance, while a scavenger hunt at the pumpkin patch (weekends only) will offer patrons the chance to unlock special treats at the hotel, including a $10 cocktail voucher or a complimentary kids’ meal with the purchase of an adult entrée.

The festivities continue on Sunday, Oct. 25, when the hotel joins Downtown Culver City’s annual Hip and Historic Halloween celebration for its annual Haunted Trick-or-Treat, taking place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Families can head to the hotel’s Crystal Dining Room, where costumed staff will welcome ghosts and goblins with candy and Halloween surprises. Adults can get into the spirit with seasonal cocktails while exploring the hotel’s spooky décor.

On Saturday, Oct. 31, for one day only, the hotel’s signature Afternoon Tea gets a haunted makeover with Spooky Tea, served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Grand Lobby and on the garden patio. The experience will feature finger sandwiches, treats, and assorted sweet bites, plus mini cauldrons filled with candies and other surprises. Haunting tunes, including Monster Mash, Thriller, and other Halloween favorites, will set the mood for the afternoon. Reservations can be made here.

Gracias Madre is offering a hands-on floral design experience inspired by the color, meaning, and magic of Día de los Muertos. Jackie Walker, founder of J. Rose Floral Design, will be the guide through the art of creating lush, vibrant floral arrangements;  all materials are provided. The workshops take place on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Larchmont location and on Sunday, Oct. 25, in West Hollywood.
