He went to high school in the city of Panipat before moving to the United States to pursue his MBA in Oakland, California. Today, he lives here in Central California with his loving wife and two children. For Akash, family is his greatest inspiration. “My family motivates me every day to keep pushing forward and build something meaningful,” he says.
Changing the Trucking Industry with a Different Approach
Akash owns one of the largest trucking companies in the Central Valley, but it’s not like most others. Instead of hiring drivers directly, his company works with independent truck owners. This means the truck owners keep control of their trucks, and Akash’s company connects them with the right jobs. This unique method is rare in the area and has helped his company stand out for treating its partners fairly and providing top service.
Because of this approach, Akash’s company works closely with Werner Enterprises, a major national transportation company. They have won the “Best Carrier” award from Werner two years in a row, in 2023 and 2024—a sign of their high-quality work and trustworthiness.
Growing Businesses, Building a Legacy
What started as a small company has grown fast. Akash expects his trucking business to bring in $50 million in revenue this year, up from $22 million last year. But trucking is only part of the story. He also owns Singel Property LLC, a real estate investment company that buys and manages properties across the United States.
“I want to build more than just one success,” Akash says. “By investing in real estate and new projects, I’m creating a strong future for my family and community.”
