Steven’s entrepreneurial spirit was apparent from a young age. He learned the value of hard work early as part of a household where money was usually tight. “I was the guy that cut the grass. I always had to have money in my pocket,” he recalls. The resilient man was determined not to fall into the same financial struggles he witnessed growing up, including the painful memory of his family being evicted from their home.

Given his experiences, Steven was motivated to pursue several ventures. He worked as an automotive technician and also taught at a college. His entrepreneurial fire persevered, however. Steven eventually launched a janitorial business that grew into a building maintenance company with over 250 employees. He found success in real estate as well, owning multiple properties and units.
In 2008, life threw Steven an unexpected curveball. He lost his business and real estate portfolio during the financial crisis. This sudden downturn caused him to lose nearly everything he had worked for over the years, but instead of giving up, the determined man pivoted. He discovered online marketing, an area far removed from his background. Eager to explore the landscape, Steven attended a webinar hosted by an online business expert. This event led him to another mentor who would play a pivotal role in his future success.
The visionary built an online business that grew as he applied the lessons he learned along the way. Eventually, Steven realized that he could help others achieve the same success. This realization prompted him to found Peoples Depot in 2018, envisioning a hub where he could pass on the knowledge, resources, and tools to help aspiring online entrepreneurs.

Besides his drive to rebuild his life, Steven built Peoples Depot to create something lasting that could help others. The seasoned entrepreneur shares advice to those seeking success: “Never give up. Failure is when you stop trying. If you keep going, you’ll find a way, no matter the setbacks.” Steven’s own path was full of obstacles.
