PHOTO GALLERY: Kai of EXO Launches U.S. Solo Tour ‘KAION’ at The Shrine

Kai, the celebrated EXO member, launched the 2025 U.S. KAION Tour, his first solo concert tour in the U.S., with a riveting performance last Thursday, Aug. 28, at the Shrine Auditorium.

Renowned for his singing, dancing and stage presence, Kai performed tracks from his latest mini-album, Wait On Me, a seven-track project that redefines his signature style. The setlist also featured his viral hit “Rover” — which has racked up 180 million Spotify streams — and debut track “Mmmh” (200 million Spotify streams, 150 million YouTube views), and fans went wild when he performed the “EXO Medley,” singing and dancing some of the verses.

As a cultural icon, Kai’s influence extends beyond music. He’s a trailblazer in fashion, becoming a Gucci ambassador in 2019 and was named in Rolling Stone’s “25 Most Stylish Musicians of 2022.”

Up next on the tour, Kai will be performing this Thursday, Sept. 4, at the Rosemont Theatre in Illinois, and on Saturday, Sept. 6 at The Theater at MSG in New York City.
