A Special Edition of Fan Expo will bring together fans of movies, comics, anime, gaming, and more for a weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center from Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28, featuring celebrity guests, animation and gaming voice actors, comic creators, cosplay, shopping, panels, and immersive fan experiences, including: 

  • Mark Hamill: Known for his roles in Star Wars, animation, and video games, Hamill,  who rarely makes convention appearances, will headline the show, appearing on stage on Friday, June 26  to talk about his  career, and meeting fans through photo ops and autograph sessions throughout the weekend.
  • The Lord of the Rings “Hobbits”: Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan during the film’s 25th anniversary year.
  • Giancarlo Esposito: Commanding fear across the Star Wars galaxy in his turn as villain “Moff Gideon” in The Mandalorian, Esposito is also known for his  roles in Breaking Bad, The Boys, Captain America: Brave New World, Better Call Saul, and more. 
  • Ahmed Best: The actor behind “Jar Jar Binks” is making a rare appearance worthy of a Star Wars celebration straight from a galaxy far, far away.
  • Brian Blessed: The voice of Boss Nass in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, is joining for his first and only U.S. convention appearance.
  • Legendary voice actors Peter Cullen and Frank Welker: Rivals “Optimus Prime” and “Megatron” anchored the animated Transformers universe, and each has voiced famous characters spanning generations. 
  • Comic creators including Paul Dini and Tom Ruegger, from the Batman universe.

TICKETS: Event tickets are now on sale, including single-day tickets, three-day passes, family passes, and VIP and Ultimate packages. Special packages including photos, autographs, and priority seating for Mark Hamill sessions are available while supplies last. A Special Preview on Friday at 1 p.m. for VIP, Ultimate, and 3-Day pass holders who purchase in advance.

The Petersen Automotive Museum’s newest exhibition, “World-Class: 100 Years of Mercedes-Benz,” opens to the public on Saturday, May 23, and will feature a comprehensive collection of the most significant vehicles in the history of Mercedes-Benz.

The exhibition will include more than 40 of the most important vehicles in the company’s history, including:●1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen, a replica of the first vehicle created by Carl Benz●1902 Mercedes Simplex 28 HP Tourer●1938 Mercedes-Benz 540K Autobahnkurier●1954 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Prototype●1971 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman Landaulet●1991 Mercedes-Benz C112●2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR Roadster.

Mercedes-Benz vehicles are deeply ingrained in the culture of Los Angeles, as exemplified by two additional models that will be on display: a 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 Sc Cabriolet originally purchased by the legendary Hollywood actor Clark Gable and a 1964 Mercedes-Benz 230SL originally purchased by Walt Disney. The 300 Sc Cabriolet stands as one of the most exclusive Mercedes-Benz models of the 1950s, produced in extremely limited numbers and distinguished by its hand-built craftsmanship and mechanical sophistication.

 Kicking off on Friday, May 22, SeaWorld San Diego will celebrate its summer line up during Summer Spectacular with a slate of day‑into‑night excitement, including the debut of new nighttime animal experiences featuring orcas, dolphins, and sea lions; a show‑stopping drone spectacular; the grand opening of Shark Encounter and launch of Dolphin Adventures; the return of its highly anticipated summer concert series headlined by top artists from 90s and early‑2000s hip hop and R&B, and more.

  • ALL-NEW: Dolphin Adventures – Featuring fresh music,  staging, and a cast of scene stealers, including dolphins, pilot whales, and the playful next generation of dolphins. 
  • ALL-NEW: The Wonders of North American Wildlife– This engaging and educational presentation highlights the diversity of native wildlife across North America, comparing and contrasting species from different regions while sharing inspiring rescue and rehabilitation stories.
  • ALL-NEW: Deep Sea Disco – Dance the night away every night of summer under the glow of SkyTower lights as the Rhythm of the Reef dancers bring high-energy fun to the ocean floor. Guests can join in as dancers teach the coolest under-the-sea moves, building up an exciting, can’t-miss finale performance that keeps the party going all night long.
