Fires are still burning but LA creatives and event producers of all stripes are stepping up in a big way, donating their time and talents to putting together a full calendar of shows where you can dance and laugh while supporting our friends and neighbors in the LA community impacted by the fires.

Here’s an inexhaustive list of upcoming shows, which we will update as more roll in.

Insomniac LA Fire Benefit Shows

Various, ongoing

Production beast Insomniac is showing up for LA in a big way, putting together a stacked line-up of 16 benefit shows that will continue for the rest of this month. Tonight, check out SLANDER B2B with NGHTMRE at Avalon, and One More Time, a Daft Punk tribute, at Exchange. Next Thursday, Jan. 30, catch Deorro at Exchange, then on Friday, Jan. 31, Emo Nite at Avalon.

Previous shows featured Group Chat, Tom & Collins, Oliver Heldens, Gasolina, Imanbek, Flosstradamus, DJ Pauly D, Pickle, Sidequest, Electrik Seoul and Svdden Death at some of the best venues stretching from LA to San Diego.

All of the proceeds will be donated to charities supporting fire victims and first responders.

Pangea Underground

Today, Friday, Jan. 24, 9 p.m. at the Catwalk Club

The Pangea Sound team is back with an underground club music party. All proceeds will be going towards their goal of raising $10,000 to support families affected by the Eaton Fire, especially in Black and Brown communities.

The Rhythm to Rebuild: A B2B Benefit for LA Fire Relief

Saturday, Jan. 25, 3 – 9 p.m. at The Sunset Room

Hosted by DJ Hunny Bee and Gianni Carter, 10 DJs will be doing 5 B2B sets with 100% of the proceeds going to victims of the fires, featuring Jadaboo, Brian Henry, Cquestt, DJ R-Tistic, Naz, Olea, Falcons and Casanova.

Rise LA for Wildfire Relief

Saturday, Jan. 25, 2 – 8 p.m. at Elevate Studios

On Saturday, Rise LA will transform Elevate Studios into a full afternoon of live music, food and a variety of wellness activities including massages, acupressure, guided meditations, sound baths and breathwork. The event was created by local musician Lumen, who lost his home in the wildfires.

Proceeds will go to MusiCares and the LAFD Foundation — the latter of which will be there with a fire truck. First responders and those who lost their homes can come have a reprieve for free.

The event is presented by Open, a mindfulness app, and moss Venice, a co-working and co-wellness concept.

I LOVE LA — A Night of Comedy for Fire Relief and Recovery

Sunday, Jan. 26, 8 p.m. at the Regent Theater

Presented by Jeremy Burke and Loud Village — the pros behind Comedy Night at Best Fish Taco, 50 First Jokes, and many epic parties — comes a night of laughs featuring some of LA’s best comedians: Atsuko Okatsuka, Beth Stelling, Eddie Pepitone, Frankie Quinones, Reggie Watts, Sheng Wang, Whitmer Thomas and more. The show will be hosted by Chris Garcia, a comedian and Altadena resident whose house miraculously survived the fires, but had nearly his entire neighborhood leveled.

All of the proceeds will be donated to GiveDirectly.org/lafires which delivers cash directly to low-income families in the hardest-hit areas of Los Angeles.

Clown for a Cause: A Fire Relief Benefit Show

Monday, Jan. 27, 9:30 p.m. at the Elysian Theater

Hosted by Ari Friedman, Elizabeth Benjamin, Hannah Levin and Oscar Fuentes, Clown for a Cause’s Fire Relief show brings together many of LA’s best clowns for a night of laughs, featuring, Kevin Krieger, Claire Woolner, Hannah Pilkes, Cruel Babes, Pot Hot, Max Charbonneau, Colin Coughlin and Jesse Pilkes with The Clown School, and more.

Much of LA’s boisterous clown community is based in Altadena and were disproportionately impacted by the fires. Proceeds from the show will benefit The Clown School founder David Bridel and beloved clown-extraordinaire Zach Steel who lost their homes, and support the rebuild of the indie comedy and clown theater PDA (Public Displays of Altadena), founded by Kevin Krieger and Claire Woolner, which also burned down.

LA Gives Back: Fire Relief

Wednesday, Jan. 29, 8 p.m. at The Bellwether

Some (most?) of LA’s best and brightest indie event producers — IHEARTCOMIX, Brownies & Lemonade, Another Planet Entertainment, Restless Nites, Fortress Studios, Little Secret, Teregram Presents and Little Cinema, along with A Club Called Rhonda, Emo Nite, Pangea Sound, Electric Feels, Heav3n, Ninja Tune, Lights Down Low, Shrek Rave, Mad Decent and Production Club — are teaming up to host a big fundraising bash for fire relief. They’re promising secret guests, and with all the heavy-hitters involved, expect an all-star list of DJs and performances. It’s beautiful to see all these groups coming together for this cause.

All the proceeds will be given to organizations supporting those affected by the fires, including the California Fire Foundation, Anti-Recidivism Coalition, Pasadena Humane and MusiCares.

Fire Aid

Thursday, Jan. 30, 6 p.m. at Kia Forum and 7:30 p.m. at Intuit Dome

Hosted by mega manager Irving Azoff, Fire Aid  is presenting two massive concerts uniting some of music’s biggest names, both hosted within a block of each other in Inglewood’s entertainment district.

The Kia Forum will have the earlier show with a more rock and alternative-centric lineup, featuring Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, Dave Mathews & John Mayer, Dawes, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, No Doubt, Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks and The Black Crowes

The Intuit dome will host the later show with a more mixed pop and urban lineup with many legends to boot, featuring Billie Eilish, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Sting and Tate McRae.

Lights Down Low Featuring Miss Kittin; and Featuring Bonobo – All Night Long LA Fire Relief Fundraiser

The devastation of the fires hit Corey Sizemore of Lights Down Low about as close to home as you can get. While his house in Altadena survived, most of his neighborhood did not. Comedian Chris Garcia noted on Instagram that Corey played a big part in saving the homes that were spared, including his, “From hosing down trees and structures to raking leaves and brush, this man is a hero and he deserves his flowers.” 

None of this has stopped LDL from building up our community — in addition to participating in LA Gives Back, Lights Down Low is hosting two benefit parties. 

The first is with Miss Kittin on Saturday, Feb. 1, to benefit his son’s school, Princeton Montessori Altadena.

The second will be on Valentine’s Day, with DJ and musician Bonobo performing all night long. Bonobo has made LA home for ten years and notes that Resident Advisor will be donating all the fees collected in support of fire victims as well.

RÜFÜS DU SOL DJ Set — Benefit for LA Fire Recovery

Thursday, March 6, at the Palladium

Australian dance legends Rüfüs Du Sol will be taking over the Palladium in March for a DJ set with all proceeds of the Live Nation event going to the California Community Foundation’s Wildlife Recovery Fund.

Tickets for the event sold out pretty quick, but you can join the waitlist should any pop-up — and who knows, maybe if enough people join the waitlist, they’ll add another show.

Jamie xx: LA Fundraiser – Benefit For Wildfire Relief

Today, Friday, Jan. 24, 2:30 p.m. at Shrine Expo Hall

Jamie xx is in town as part of his In Waves Tour, and has added an early show today as a wildfire benefit. All proceeds for the all-ages event will go to the California Fire Foundation, Extreme Weather Survivors and ClientEarth.
