Skybar at Mondrian Los Angeles will feature “Sunset Sounds: Acoustic Sessions,” with live music every other Thursday starting on Aug. 25. Chef Ray Garcia will partner with online wine retailer Luckysomm for a night of wine, small bites and live music on asterid’s DTLA patio Thursday, Aug. 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

KazuNori , The Original Hand Roll Bar has replaced SUGARFISH in the former Sushi Nozawa space at in Studio City, adding The Nozie to the menu — a new six-hand roll set menu featuring staples like lobster, toro and eel, along with more recent additions like ankimo, sea bream and yamaimo.
Beachwood Brewing and Distilling, known for its award-winning IPAs, sour beers, and barbecue, has opened a new location in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach, and has announced plans to branch into distilling, as well as a new pizzeria slated to open later this summer in Huntington Beach and an outdoor taproom opening in September at Second & PCH in Long Beach. The new Bixby Knolls location features a 24-tap tasting room and will be brewing small batches of specialty beers on-site, as well as bringing in brews from its Huntington Beach production facility and Downtown Long Beach brewpub, as well as Belgian-inspired sour beers from The Blendery.
