With so many restaurant openings, so much to eat, it's hard to get everywhere you want to go to try new places. We're here to help: LA Weekly's The Essentials event this year features many restaurants from our list of the Best New Restaurants of 2014

The event, which is returning on Sunday, March 8 with a new venue and new lineup for its seventh year, features a stunning list of restaurants (you can see the full list here). But it also includes many of the restaurants from my Best New Restaurants of 2014, including:

Alimento, the inventive new Italian restaurant in Silver Lake from Zach Pollack. Read my review of Alimento here.

Saint Martha, the quirky and surprising New American spot tucked into a strip mall in Koreatown. Here's the review.
Night + Market Song, which delivers mind blowing Thai at its second locate, in Silver Lake. Here's the review of that one.

Petit Trois, Ludo Lefebvre's ode to the tiny bars of Paris. Read the rare 4-star review here

Szechuan Impression, the fantastic new Sichuan spot in Alhambra. Here's my review of that one.

POT, Roy Choi's exceedingly fun Korean restaurant in the Line Hotel. Read the review of POT here

There are also plenty of participants from previous years' Best New Restaurants lists, including Chengdu Taste, Connie and Ted's, and Hinoki and the Bird.

You can buy tickets to the event here, and we recommend you do so now, as prices go up on January 19 at 12:01 a.m.

Hope to see you there!
