Fashion model Aga Wojtasik stands out beyond the superficial.

Based in New York City, Aga is represented by top agencies like New York Models, LA Models, and multiple agencies in Europe, but what truly sets her apart is how she has successfully intertwined her modeling career with her passion for wellness. Not only is she an international model who has worked for some of the biggest brands in the world, but she is also a certified nutritional therapy practitioner.

How does Aga balance the demands of the fashion world with a commitment to physical and mental health and well-being? Her story challenges the conventional narrative, offering a glimpse into a more mindful approach to success in an often turbulent industry.

Beginning Her Career

Getting her modeling start in 2013, Aga was scouted on the streets of her hometown of Białystok, Poland. “What inspired me to pursue modeling,” she recalls, “was traveling around the world at a young age and meeting the most creative people in my field. I feel inspired being part of someone’s vision and creating art.”

The sought-after model has worked professionally in Japan, Hong Kong, Paris, Milan, London, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Los Angeles, Miami, and, of course, New York City. During these experiences, Aga only became more passionate about her career, and she has earned several professional achievements along the way.

The World As Her Runway

Some of Aga’s most important accomplishments include walking for illustrious shows such as Armani, Issey Miyake, Dolce & Gabbana, and LaQuan Smith. She has also worked on advertising campaigns for brands like Dior Beauty, L’Oréal, James Perse, Alo Yoga, and many more. A particularly proud moment of hers was when she booked an Armani show for Milan Fashion Week in 2017 – a huge personal achievement and greatly advanced her career.

Resilience in the Face of Adversity

Aga has faced many challenges over the course of her ten-year modeling career. Hopeful models must endure constant rejection from clients and agencies, and she quickly learned that she would need tough skin to last and that resilience would make a big difference. She also had to live far from home and adapt to her surroundings to fit in. This experience in particular taught her independence, even at a young age.

A challenge that so many models face is controlling their weight and overall appearance. Nutritional regimes are often handed down from agencies that would encourage models to eat as little as possible, which Aga recognized as an extremely troubling issue. Despite these challenges, she has managed to find success as a model.

Outside of her work, Aga speaks to younger models who need advice on navigating the industry, and she has also become a nutritional therapy practitioner, recognizing that the diets modeling agencies recommend are unhealthy and often harmful. She is always glad to speak to models about the importance of wellness and nutrition and plans to create content offering similar guidance to anyone struggling with their body image and suffering from the pressures of society to look a certain way.

Resilience, Wellness, and Passion

Aga Wojtasik is not only a successful model with a huge amount of industry experience, but she also uses that experience to help others struggling to find proper nutritional advice. Her journey demonstrates that real success in the fashion industry goes beyond the runway; it’s about combining resilience with a commitment to wellness, driven by a passion to succeed.
