Zolita Gets Gaga: Rising pop star Zolita told us about her Gaga experience.

Zolita: The best show I’ve ever been to was Lady Gaga’s Chromatica Ball at Dodger Stadium last year.

Dancing in my room to Chromatica got me through quarantine, so going to see the show several years after it came out with 50k+ people, mostly queer folk and outsiders, felt like an extremely cathartic culmination.

Every Gaga tour I’ve been to has been transportive and transformative, but I have to say this one took the cake. Watching her sing Shallow as a Mugler inspired oil slicked insect will forever be a core memory.

I hope I can go back to Chromatica one day!

Zolita Gets Gaga: Zolita’s “Ashley” single is out now. The Falling Out / Falling In EP is out February 10.

Press bio for Zolita:

“Using classic tropes and nostalgia at the emotional core of her colorful, narrative-driven music videos that she self directs, produces and edits, Zolita uses her passion for both music and filmmaking to center LGBTQ+ characters and share joyful queer stories as a way of fostering inclusivity and connection. Quickly adding to her more than 140 million global streams, Zolita recently made waves for her episodic viral trilogy that featured “Somebody I F*cked Once,” “Single In September,” and “I F*cking Love You,” and put a brilliant twist on the classic teen movie.”
