22-Year-Old Female Rider Fatally Struck Two-Vehicle Collision near Sylmar Avenue
CLOVIS, CA (September 1, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, Zein Al-Zoubi was killed in a motorcycle collision on Nees Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 12:00 p.m., near Willow and Sylmar Avenue.
Per reports, the female rider of an eastbound motorcycle collided with an oncoming white car while it was turning left.
Medical personnel arrived and transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital where she later died.
The Fresno County Coroner’s Office later identified the deceased victim as 20-year-old Zoubi, of Clovis.
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Officials also closed down the eastbound lanes of Nees Avenue between Willow and Peach for at least three hours. Once available, further details will be provided.
