17-Year-Old Boy Pronounced Dead after Two-Car Crash near Yorba Linda Boulevard

PLACENTIA, CA (June 11, 2024) Zach Henn was killed Tuesday morning, and four others were injured in an auto collision on Valencia Avenue.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:20 a.m., near Yorba Linda Boulevard.

Investigators say 17-year-old Henn was driving a 1984 Chevrolet Corvette in the area. For reasons unknown, he collided with a Range Rover driven by a 39-year-old woman, who had two juvenile passengers with her.
Medical personnel extricated the teen Corvette driver and transported him to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District identified the deceased driver as 17-year-old Zach Henn, a Junior at El Dorado High School.
The woman driving the Range Rover and her two passengers were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in Henn’s vehicle was also hospitalized.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are still under investigation. Placentia officials are working to determine what happened, and further details will be provided as they become available.
