Original styles never go out of trend in the music industry, no matter how intense the competition is. Young Dirty Bastard is a unique talent who successfully took the spotlight every time he released a single. His long-standing interest and passion for music can be attributed to his father, the Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Besides being the eldest son of the iconic American rapper, Young Dirty Bastard is the nephew of the famous singer RZA.

After dropping back-to-back smashing hits, he is now set to rock the NY music scene with his recent release “BarSun.” Born in a family with deep-rooted music culture, Young Dirty Bastard knew what he would be doing for a living from an early age. He grew up under the profound influence of the 90s hit hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan and is fresh off a 25-city tour titled “NY State of Mind” with Wu Tang-Clan, Nas, and Busta Rhymes.

His music career started with mixtapes released under the label of Wu Music Group. Many of these songs were recorded with the guidance of RZA, and one of the mixtapes, A Dirty Tomorrow, featured the famous rapper Ghostface Killah. After releasing a series of hit mixtapes, Young Dirty Bastard started working independently and soon gained recognition in the rapping scene in Brooklyn, NY.

Young Dirty Bastard had the opportunity to appear live on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and NPR Tiny Desk. He also had an exceptional hologram performance with ODB at the Hot 97 Summer Jam.

However, performing at the BET Awards with Mariah Carey and Layton has been one of the milestones in his career so far. To add to his music accolades, he has also released his signature Young Dirty Brew Drink opening the door to other business ventures and adding a new dimension to his career.

Now the rapper is basking in the roaring success of his new single, “BarSun.” The song resonates with his official name Bar-Sun Unique Jones, but he is world famous by his stage name, Young Dirty Bastard.

The track is full of contagious energy that can make anyone groove to the electrifying rhythm. Released on September 23 of this year, “BarSun” has already earned appreciation among music enthusiasts in the country. The song is unique because it is the first release from his upcoming debut album “Brooklyn’s My Blood Type,” which will drop on 2/22/23.

Brooklyn’s, My Blood Type has about 14 euphoric soundtracks, out of which the rapper plans to release 7 to 8 songs every couple of weeks, starting with “BarSun.”

The next release is another foot-tapping song, “Get It,” expected to drop on October 16 this year. Young Dirty Bastard loves to work as an independent artist and wants to stand out for his unique take on music or rapping.

He is also taking his music to the next level by venturing into the Web3 space. He has an upcoming NFT music marketplace, “Dynisty,” and several Brooklyn community acknowledgments and projects while continuing his father’s legacy. The rapper has bigger plans for the future. Considering his upbringing and progress so far, his future moves are something every music enthusiast should look out for as an enthralling experience.
