Do you have an urge to boogie that you just can't satiate? Feel like it's been too long since you've felt the funk? As part of the Music Center's summer Dance Downtown series, you can learn some gnarly new disco moves that will help you unleash that suppressed dancing queen. With two rounds of dance lessons and almost a half-hour of free dance, by the end of the night you'll be bumpin' like Tony Manero on a feverish Saturday night. A surprise dance instructor will teach the moves and a live disco band will play tunes that your feet just can't help but hustle to — good thing, because there is no sitting and watching on this dance floor. Come early with a picnic basket and bottle of wine and claim your spot in the plaza. Be there or be square. Music Center Plaza, 135 N. Grand Ave., dwntwn.; Fri., Aug. 9, 6:30-10 p.m.; free.
