Mother of 3 Severely Injured in High Speed Chase near San Pedro Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 3, 2023) – Thursday night, Yolanda Reyna suffered major injuries in a pursuit collision on Gage Avenue.

Police responded to the scene along Gage Avenue and San Pedro Street on February 16th, around 7:40 p.m.

The initial pursuit began when the suspect fled at a high rate of speed during an attempted traffic stop at Florence Avenue and Main Street.

Shortly after, the driver of the stolen black GMC pickup-truck ran a red light on Gage Avenue and struck Reyna’s vehicle.

Responding paramedics then transported the female driver of the involved vehicle, Reyna, to nearby hospital in critical condition.

Officers later arrested two suspects, a man in his 40s and his passenger, from the stolen vehicle. At this time, officials have not released any further information.

Furthermore, the family of Yolanda Reyna made a GoFundMe page to help with the medical expenses.
