What do Bloc Party, the actor Ryan Gosling and Chromeo have in common? All are non-DJs who gave the decks a spin this week. Actually Chromeo's tonight, so if you're looking for something to do after their Fonda show, hop on down to the Ivar for the after-party where they'll be attacking the wheels of steel. See flyer below.

Bloc Party got ballsy at the All Star Lanes on Monday we hear (but did they play Sex Pistols or not, someone tell us), while Gosling spun a sophisticated mix at The Green Door last night (which is supposed to be a regular gig, but will probably cease once lovesick female fans of The Notebook start stalking the place).

Even more intriguing we think, will be the sounds pumping out of our pal Myles Hendrick's Pash at the Room tomorrow night, where psychedelic hobo-rocker Devendra Banhart is set to spin. Will he play some freaky shit nobody can dance to or the usual ironic rock and dance faves heard there? Will Natalie Portman be in da house? Will you be able to get in? Only if you know the secret password, and unfortunately, we can't tell, but we'll give ya a hint. It rhymes with roots.
