You got a kick out of our post this week on “Los Angeles' Douchiest Neighborhoods.” And while it was mostly a tongue-in-cheek mix of envy and self-reflection (including some of the places we've lived before), some of it was true, apparently.

Well, sort of. Take a look at Yelp's recent “wordmap” of reviews that mention the word “hipster” in L.A:

If you equate “hipster” with “douche,” and you could certainly argue that there's some serious overlap of them there concentric circles, you'll notice that a few of our douchiest neighborhoods rate as hipster havens:

Yep, note that you'll find there some of our douchiest faves, including Echo Park, downtown and Abbot Kinney.

Maybe we should have seen this map first, however, because we probably missed such hot spots as Hollywood, Silver Lake and what appears to us to be the Beverly Center area.

Oh well. There's always “Los Angeles' Douchiest Neighborhoods, Part 2.”
