41-Year-Old Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident near Lake Shore Drive

BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 27, 2023) – Wednesday night, a hit-and-run crash on North Loop Boulevard injured Yardley Yolanda Rojas. The incident happened on January 11th, at around 5:45 p.m., on the 9300 block of North Loop Boulevard. According to reports, Rojas was walking in the area when she was struck by a silver or gray Toyota. The impact of the crash left her with serious injuries. Following the collision, the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. First responders to the scene found her on the highway and transported her to a local hospital. There, medics reported 41-year-old Yardley Yolanda Rojas to be in critical condition. At this time, the driver of the vehicle has not been identified and police are asking the public for information.
