The buzz killingtons at the LAPD don't stop this week. They snuffed out a flash mob rave on Hollywood Boulevard, prepared for Lady Gaga fans to get out of hand yesterday (the didn't) and now they're targeting underage buggers who are illegally on the street past curfew (after 10 p.m.) downtown this weekend.

Why the concern for teenage mayhem? Well, in this case, it's because the X Games are in town.

And you know that that means:

Skater madness.

So forget the heroin dealing going on near Fifth and Spring streets or the homicides that seem to plague Skid Row. We've got four-wheeled violators to pursue.

The X Games are on now through the weekend at Staples Center and LA Live, with the elite of professional skateboarding competing.

LAPD Lt. Paul Vernon says underage fans better get a ride home from mommy before 10 p.m:

Curfew laws restrict the rights of juveniles to be outdoors or in public places during certain hours of the day.

Under-18 skaters seen on the streets after-hours could see $675 in fines and penalties and a serious problem obtaining that ever-important first drivers license.

The lesson here: Grow a beard, kids.
