Steve LaWynn Resorts banned Paris Hilton from its two hotels on the Las Vegas strip Wednesday, while her boyfriend Cy Waits has been released as managing partner for the properties' Tryst and XS nightclubs, the Associated Press reports.
Wynn spokeswoman Jennifer Dunne told the paper that Hilton is barred from both Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. Waits was let go as top managing partner of the Tryst Nightclub at Wynn and the XS nightclub at Encore, Dunne said in a statement. This is a total disappointment, to no one.
The ban follows the couple's arrest last weekend, when Hilton was cited for suspicion of felony cocaine possession, and Waits was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. The socialite, or whatever she is, claimed that the cocaine found in her purse did not belong to her. Right.
A police report also revealed that a suspected butt of a marijuana cigarette was found in the Cadillac Escalade that the two were riding in. Waits had bloodshot eyes and failed a walk-and-turn sobriety test, an arresting officer said.
Hilton is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 27, while Waits is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 29.
