When it comes to blonde bombshells, few are as beloved as Dolly Parton. While platinum icons like Madonna and Marilyn are worshiped mostly for their sex appeal, Ms. P’s Southern charm almost outshines her other assets. She’s the type of gal ya wanna eat fried chicken and –pardon the presidential popularity reference- chug a beer with. And while she admitted a long time ago that ‘the girls’ aren’t god-given, she’s still one of the realest famous females we can think of.

Bodacious blondes real and faux turned out in droves at the World of Wonder art gallery in Hollywood last Friday night for the opening of Dollypop (a show honoring the country music legend) including two of the most colorful gals about town we know: art tarts Lenora Claire and Giddle Partridge.

Claire, who’s hosted and curated a couple events at WOW previously (Golden Gals Gone Wild, Merry Titmas) and also hangs in the show via a portrait done by photog Austin Young, was the official “Dolly” at the event, donning the blond wig (she’s normally a Technicolor redhead) and cleavage-enhancing country hottie ensemble seen here.

She tells us she sat on the bales of hay holding chickens all night (yes, the clucker in the pic is real) while guys attempted to flirt with her and make “cock” jokes, including Chance and bro Real from I Love New York. Claire always has something eccentrically fierce going on, and her latest project is no exception. She’s taking over the LA branch of Dr. Sketchy's, the anti-art sketch class events featuring the world’s most beguiling burlesque models and offbeat beefcake.

Partridge, who painted a piece for the show, didn’t really change her look for the event. This cartoonish cutie always bears sassy big blonde Dolly hair and like Claire, is naturally endowed enough to pull off the daring décolleté.

In addition to making art, Giddle is also an accomplished singer. Check out her duet with experimental music artist Boyd Rice (and their groovy merch) here.

Dollypop, curated by Steven Corfe and E!'s Marc Malkin, runs through Oct. 8. See more about the show on the gal's official Myspace and on James St. James' Daily Freak Show for WOW.

Lovin’ the large n’ lovely blonde locks on these heads? Then you must check out the big wigs in our Nightranger Slideshow this week, as well as the accompanying column featuring Jean Natalia’s Wig Out! at Bordello and goth grotto Ruin at The Bridge (now back at the Monte Cristo).
