You know how Noma is often referred to as the “best restaurant in the world”? That's thanks mainly to the World's 50 Best Restaurants List, an annual ranking compiled by Restaurant magazine and sponsored by San Pellegrino. Well, that list has just come out, and Noma is no longer on top. Spain retook the glory with El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain, taking the No. 1 spot (in 2009 Spain's El Bulli held the place of prestige). Noma moved to the No. 2 spot.

America enters the list at No. 5, with New York's Eleven Madison Park. Per Se, Alinea and Le Bernardin all make it into the top 20. The French Laundry barely makes it into the top 50, coming in at No. 47.

Any L.A. restaurants on the list? Nope.

And despite being branded as the World's 50 Best, the list actually goes to 100. Any L.A. restaurants between 50 and 100? No again. The closest restaurant to us on that part of the list is Coi in San Francisco, which came in at No. 58.

You can see the whole list on the World's Top 50 Restaurants website.
