This is not only tax day, but it's Equal Pay Day, when we lament the fact that, in 2012, women still make less than men for doing the same jobs.

Now comes news that, on top of that, women work harder than men.

Yep. You heard that right. A recent survey from recruiting software company Bullhorn called “theFIT Report on Workplace Culture” found that …

… women work longer days.

The report (PDF) says 54 percent of women work 9 hours or more while only 41 percent of men do. That's based on a survey of 5,000 workers.

And 67 percent of women were willing to work while on vacation, compared to 60 percent of men.

Men were more likely to lie about being sick at home too: 1 in 5 men were BSing. Make that 1 in 7 for the ladies.
