Pedestrian Crash on Gas Point Road Sent One Unidentified Woman to Hospital

COTTONWOOD, CA (December 17, 2021) – A pedestrian crash on Gas Point Road hospitalized one unidentified woman Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred at 5:30 p.m. along Gas Point Road.

As per CHP, a driver heading westbound collided into a female pedestrian who was standing in the traffic lane.

Responding medics took the pedestrian to Mercy Medical Center Redding with major injuries. At this time, police did not release information of her current condition.

Cottonwood police are still currently working to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident on Varner Road.
