Hit-and-Run Incident near Waverly Drive Resulted in One Fatality
MODESTO, CA (November 10, 2022) – Early Monday morning, a hit-and-run on Carpenter Road claimed the life of one woman.
The fatal incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. between Waverly Drive and Paradise Road.
Furthermore, according to the California Highway Patrol, the driver was driving a small dark-colored older-model pickup.
However, the driver did not render aid to the victim and fled the scene before the authorities arrived.
Unfortunately, the woman sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding authorities. Although, her identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
