Vehicle Crash on 26th Street Left Woman Dead

SAN PEDRO, CA (January 27, 2022) – A vehicle crash on 26th Street apartment left a female driver killed Friday evening.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the incident around 9:35 p.m. to 612 West 26th Street after reports of a vehicle crashing into a building.

Furthermore, upon arrival authorities declared one woman dead at the scene.

Moreover, officials red-tagged the unit struck by the vehicle and ruled it as uninhabitable.

Additionally, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s SouthTraffic Division, no other units were red-tagged.

Meanwhile, the identity of the deceased woman remains unavailable, pending notification of next of kin.

The surrounding area was closed down for an unknown amount of time to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

San Pedro Officials are investigating the crash.
