Female Driver Pronounced Dead after Auto Collision on North California Street

STOCKTON, CA (December 1, 2021) – Tuesday morning, a woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on North California Street.

Around 7:45 a.m., police responded at the 2500 block of North California Street after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

At this time, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, authorities pronounced one of the drivers, a woman, dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, medics sent the other driver to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

In addition, the surrounding area on California Street was closed off for a brief time during preliminary duties, but has since reopened.
