76-Year-Old Dies in Truck Crash on Interstate 15

SAN DIEGO, CA (March 10, 2022) – A 76-year-old woman lost her life after a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 15 early Friday morning.

The collision occurred at around 2:20 a.m. along the Interstate 15 north.

Furthermore, per the reports, an Amazon Prime semi-trailer slid sideways to a stop on Interstate 15 due to rainy conditions from an overnight storm.

Afterward, an SUV collided with the semi-truck, becoming wedged beneath the large vehicle.

Consequently, paramedics then took the 76-year-old female driver of the SUV to the hospital.

The woman was later pronounced dead due to the extent of her injuries. Authorities, are currently withholding her identity until her family is notified.

Meanwhile the truck driver, a 27-year-old San Bernardino County man, escaped the crash unharmed.

The crash also caused diesel to spill onto the freeway and officials decided to close all lanes of I-15 north for clean-up for about several hours.

San Diego Police are still investigating this incident.
