Woman Pronounced Dead after Solo-Car Crash near San Fernando Mission Road
MISSION HILLS, CA (August 14, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a woman died, and three were hurt in a single-car accident on Sepulveda Boulevard. The incident occurred around 9:00 a.m., on the westbound lanes of Sepulveda Boulevard near San Fernando Mission Road. According to reports, an elderly woman accidentally hit the gas of an SUV inside the Toyota dealership. As a result, she struck two employees and two customers. Medics arrived and pronounced one woman dead at the scene due to the extent of her injuries. Although, police have not yet released her identity. Another victim sustained a head injury, while two more suffered minor injuries that were not disclosed. Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV remained uninjured and stayed to cooperate with the authorities. Following preliminary duties, alcohol or drugs were not considered potential factors in the collision.
