Three-Car Accident on Leslie Street Leaves 1 Dead

RICHLAND, WA (June 22, 2021)  – A female passenger died Wednesday afternoon after a tragic three-car accident on Leslie Street.

The fatal crash happened around 4:14 p.m. on June 9, near Canyon Avenue.

As per reports, two vehicles were heading south on Leslie and Canyon, and as two lanes merged into one, neither driver yielded to the other. As a result, the two cars collided.

Richland Police say one vehicle was pushed into another in the northbound lane, causing a third car to crash into the passenger’s side of the initial vehicle.

Responding officers arrived shortly after and found the passenger dead due to her injuries.

At this time, local authorities did not consider impairment or distraction from devices to be a factor in the accident. Although, an investigation is currently underway.
