Pedestrian Crash along Valley Avenue near Cabrillo Avenue Left 1 Fatality

WEST COVINA, CA (January 25, 2022) – An unidentified woman lost her life Saturday morning after a pedestrian crash on Valley Avenue.

According to the CHP, they responded to reports of a collision at 6:00 a.m. on January 15th, in the 3000 block of Valley Avenue.

Responding medics declared one woman dead at the scene. At this time, officials have no information about the cause of the collision.

Meanwhile, the driver remained at the site and cooperated with authorities.

Furthermore, CHP withheld the name of the victim until her next of kin is notified.

Additionally, both directions of the roadway were shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
