Pedestrian-Auto Collision on Union Avenue Left Woman Killed

BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 17, 2021) – A pedestrian crash on Union Avenue claimed the life of a woman Monday night.

According to the authorities, the collision occurred when a vehicle struck the pedestrian in an unmarked crosswalk.

As a result, the woman suffered severe injuries and later died at the hospital. Meanwhile, the driver, identified as an adult man, was left uninjured.

Crews have not yet identified those involved in the collision. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.
