Lemon Grove Pedestrian Crash Leaves One Fatality
LEMON GROVE, CA (July 27, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a pedestrian crash on Lemon Grove that claimed the life of a woman last Tuesday.
The fatal incident occurred around 10:40 P.M. at Broadway east of Sweetwater Road, underneath the bridges that connect state Routes 125 and 94.
However, the details surrounding the crash remain unclear.
At this time, officials only described the victim as an “unidentified female” who died at the scene.
Initially, authorities received a report of a hit-and-run but later clarified as the deputies were out with the involved driver.
Furthermore, Lemon Grove officials ruled out intoxication as a factor that contributed to the crash.
The pedestrian crash remains under investigation.
