San Ramon Pedestrian Crash Resulted to One Fatality

SAN RAMON (September 3, 2021) – A pedestrian crash on I-680 claimed the life of one woman last Monday, authorities said.

The fatal incident occurred around 12:55 A.M. the southbound lanes of I-680 just north of Bollinger Canyon Road, according to CHP.

Eventually, investigators determined that an SUV struck the woman walking across the Interstate lanes.

Tragically, first responders declared the woman dead on the scene.

Meanwhile, the involved SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Furthermore, the CHP is also investigating a nearby vehicle in the northbound lanes for the pedestrian crash.

San Ramon Officials are asking anyone with information about the deadly incident to contact the Dublin CHP office at 925-828-0566.

At this time, the identity of the deceased victim remain unclear, waiting notification from their next of kin.
