40-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck by Police in Pedestrian Collision near Tulips Falls Drive

LAS VEGAS, NV (January 21, 2022) – A 40-year-old woman died in a pedestrian crash on Boulder Highway Wednesday evening.

The crash happened around 7:35 p.m., on Boulder Highway near Tulips Falls Drive. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to police, the female pedestrian was crossing the highway near Tulip Falls Drive when an on-duty officer was driving in the southbound lanes and struck the victim.

Additionally, reports stated that the pedestrian was wearing dark clothes and crossed in a dark, unmarked crossway. The identity of the woman has not been released at this time.

Meanwhile, the deadly crash is still under active investigation.
