Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Crash on Azusa Avenue

CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA (March 17, 2022) – Sunday evening, one woman was killed in a pedestrian collision on Azusa Avenue.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 9:40 p.m., in the 1600 block of Azusa Avenue. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

At this time, the circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, reports indicate that a woman was walking in the area when she was struck by a passing vehicle.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the female pedestrian to a hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released her name or place of residency.

At this time, City of Industry Officials are still currently investigating the pedestrian crash.
