Pedestrian Accident on Merrill Avenue Resulted in Death
FONTANA, CA (September 27, 2021) – One unidentified woman tragically died Monday night after a pedestrian accident on Merrill Avenue.
The fatal crash happened just around 8:27 p.m. September 20, on Merrill Avenue and Cherry Avenue.
According to the CHP, a box truck struck woman on the roadway, under unclear circumstances. Responding medics transported the woman but later died as a result of her injuries.
At this time, authorities have not released to the identity of the victim until her next of kin was notified.
The Fontana Police do not currently believe that drugs or alcohol were factors. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
