Pedestrian Fatally Struck on East Panama Lane Accident
BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 30, 2022) – On Thursday, an unidentified woman lost her life in an auto-pedestrian accident on East Panama Lane.
The crash happened on August 11th, at around 11:00 p.m., along the 2300 block of East Panama Lane.
According to reports, a woman walking in the roadway on the eastbound lane was struck by a motorist under unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded to the area shortly after and pronounced the woman deceased. California Highway Patrol authorities are withholding the identity of the victim for the time being, pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the unidentified driver remained and cooperated with authorities. Authorities have not released any additional information as they do not suspect the driver of DUI at this time. Bakersfield police are investigating the crash and continue to ask witnesses to contact them at 661-327-7111.
