Female Victim Dead after Auto Collision near Sotano Drive

SACRAMENTO, CA (August 4, 2022) – Tuesday night, a multi-vehicle crash on Northgate Boulevard left one woman dead.

The incident occurred just before 5:00 p.m., on August 2nd, near the intersection of Northgate Boulevard and Sotano Drive.

According to Sacramento Police Department, three vehicles collided in the area. The impact of the crash caused four people to sustain varying degrees of injuries.

Emergency responders arrived and rendered first aid to the injured parties. Medics then rushed the victims to a nearby hospital where one of the female victims later died.

At this time, Sacramento officials have not yet released the identity of the deceased victim.

Crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.

Sacramento Officials are currently working to determine the reason behind the multi-vehicle crash on Northgate Boulevard. Those with further information regarding the accident are encouraged to contact local authorities as soon as possible.
