Metrolink Train Accident on 57 Freeway Left One Woman Dead

SAN DIMAS, CA (December 30, 2021) – A Metrolink Train near the 57 Freeway fatally struck a woman Wednesday evening.

The fatal incident happened at 5:50 p.m. under the 57 Freeway overpass in a non-pedestrian area.

According to officials, they only identified the victim as a woman in her 30s.

Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries at the nearby hospital.

Furthermore, San Dimas Officials closed tracks between Covina Metrolink Station and Metrolink Pomona for investigation.

The tracks reopened around 8:28 p.m.
