Hit-and-Run Crash near Buchanan Road Resulted in Fatality
ANTIOCH, CA (October 14, 2022) – Late Tuesday evening, a woman died after a hit-and-run crash on Contra Loma Boulevard.
The fatal collision occurred around 11:05 p.m. near Buchanan Road.
According to reports, a pedestrian was walking in the area when she was struck by a vehicle. The impact of the collision left her with serious injuries. The involved driver immediately drove away without rendering aid to the victim.
Emergency responders arrived to the site of the collision afterward and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. However, at the hospital, medics pronounced the 50-year-old woman dead, due to the extent of her injuries.
