63-Year-Old Pedestrian Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Accident near North Shasta Street

WILLOWS, CA (October 11, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, a 63-year-old woman was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Wood Street.

Police responded to the scene around 5:48 p.m., near North Shasta Street on October 1st.

According to police, the 63-year-old pedestrian was crossing the street when she was struck by a vehicle.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the female pedestrian on the street with severe injuries. Paramedics then transported the woman to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, a witness told the police that the vehicle involved fled the scene and went eastbound on Wood Street. At this time, the police have not been able to locate the vehicle. The witnesses described the vehicle as a Grey or Silver car.
