Suspect at Large after Hit-and-Run Accident on McAllister Street in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 15, 2021) – Early Thursday morning, a woman was killed in a hit-and-run collision on Van Ness Avenue.

Dispatchers responded to the scene around 1:05 a.m., in the area of McAllister Street and Van Ness Avenue.

Per reports, an SUV struck a woman near the intersection and immediately fled the scene without rendering aid.

Paramedics arrived shortly after and transported the female pedestrian to a local hospital with critical injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, she later succumbed to her injuries. She was only described by officers as a woman in her 30s.

Moreover, San Francisco police have only described the suspect vehicle as an SUV. Meanwhile, the hit-and-run driver still remains at large.
