Fatal Collision on Comanche Drive near Edison Highway

EDISON, CA (October 6, 2021) – An unidentified woman lost her life in a collision on Comanche Drive near Edison Highway on Sunday morning.

According to the CHP, a lady traveling northbound on Comanche Drive in a Mazda failed to stop at a stop sign on Edison Highway.

Subsequently, the lady then lost control and collided with a Subaru driving south on Comanche Drive, killing her.

Responding authorities discovered a man and a 9-year-old boy in the Subaru with mild to moderate injuries.

CHP said the circumstances around the crash remain unknown, however, an active investigation is ongoing.

Meanwhile, authorities withheld the name of the deceased woman after next kin is notified.
