Two-Vehicle Collision on Blanco Road in Marina Left Woman Dead

MARINA, CA (August 20, 2021) – A two-vehicle fatal crash on Blanco Road claimed the life of a woman last Monday morning, according Marina Officials.

The fatal crash occurred around 6:15 A.M. in eastbound Blanco Road west of Davis Road, according to the CHP.

Investigators determined that a 2021 Dodge Ram 5500 stopped on the roadway, turning into an agricultural field.

However, a 2002 Hyundai traveling in the same direction failed to slow down and rear-ended the Dodge.

As a result, the woman in the Hyundai passenger seat died due to the impact.

Moreover, the investigators pointed out that the deceased woman might not have be wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

At this time, the identities of the people involved and the total number of casualties remain unclear.

Marina Officials will continue to investigate the fatal crash on Blanco Road with the help of the California Highway Patrol.
