Woman Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Collision on Thomas Road
PHOENIX, AZ (July 7, 2023) – Early Monday morning, one woman was fatally injured in a 3-car accident on 16th Street.
Authorities responded to the scene around 4:15 a.m., near Thomas Road on June 26th.
At this time, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, reports indicate that a Tesla sedan, an SUV, and a third vehicle were involved.
In addition, crews say the SUV suffered significant front-end damage and one of the other vehicles rolled over. Investigators believe a woman was walking along the crosswalk when she was struck by one of the cars.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one woman dead at the scene. Although, police have not yet released her identity.
Additionally, one of the involved drivers was sent to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
