Two-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 5 leaves one Woman Hurt

Carlsbad, CA ( August 30, 2021 ) – Saturday afternoon, August 21, one woman sustained injuries after a two-vehicle collision on the Northbound Interstate 5.

The crash occurred at around 12:42 p.m. near Carlsbad Village Drive, as per report.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2021 Blue Chevrolet Silverado crashed with a black Mercedes for reasons unknown.

According to the CHP, the Mercedes driver claimed her airbag did not deploy and she collided with the steering wheel, perhaps breaking her ribs.
