Injuries Reported after Electric Scooter Accident in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 2, 2021) – Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver that left a woman injured along West 4th Street.

According to the authorities, an eastbound 2020 Chevrolet Spark struck a woman riding a rented scooter in a one-way lane of West 4th Street.

In addition, security camera footage showed the woman was launched to the air and landed head first on the sidewalk. Meanwhile, the shirtless driver exited his vehicle but immediately fled the scene.

Eventually, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded at the scene and transported that woman to the hospital with serious injuries.

Later on, investigators learned that the vehicle involved was reported stolen.
